    Default Short Eared Owl

I was blessed with excellent light for once, hard to find here this winter!

Very nice light and composition in the frame. Next time, though, I would increase the shutter speed to less than 1/1000 when shooting any bird in flight.

Very nice light! Sharpness looks good. I just wish the owl were flying towards you instead of away from you. I also find the bird a little small in the frame; however, you may not have enough pixels on the bird to go for a tighter crop.

I fully agree with Doug critic. I like the nice light, smooth Bg and the feeling of empty space around the SE owl. The left wing´s position is not the best but I would love to have this one on my files ;-)
