From a quick trip to the beach this afternoon after work. I love the beach in the winter, so quiet and peaceful. I think even the birds can feel it.

I love the symmetry, the soft light, and the pattern but the first bird needs a haircut and I find the weird head shape distracting.

Thanks, Artie for commenting. The first bird was at the top of the hill and the wind was catching his "hair" and blowing it up. I just looked through the series and they are all like that. I thought it was funny, but apparently it didn't translate.

It is how it is Grace. Nice angle and they are all looking in the same direction. I guess one cannot have everything?

How about cloning one head onto the fluffy one? (seriously, I am joking, I would not do that - just had to mention to the clone brigade) :)

Love the composition Grace, simple and very effective. I would try to tone down the image a litle bit because it looks very bright and I would darken the BG a bit to made the sanderlings pop up. Good job!

Leave it as it is with the one suggestion from our friend from Cordoba, Spain. Image is a little bright and consequently a little flat. Just rememter, these are "suggestion" and there-for subjective. You took it and posted it because you say someting that affected you. Learn from the suggestion, but be honest to your own creative convictions. ;-)

Hi Grace, you did really well to get perfectly opposite your subjects. The DOF is spot on.
