    Default Linear vs Circular Polarizers

Does anyone know whether a linear polarizing filter can be used on an auto focus camera? Some people say yes, many say no, that only circular polarizers can be used. I recently switched from screw on filters to the Lee system and need to replace my polarizing filter. Both are available for Lee but people can't seem to come to an agreement on which should be used with auto focus systems. Any comments?

Sure you can use both but be aware that the autofocus and in-camera metering will probably be inaccurate when using a linear filter on an SLR.

That is what I've heard and read also, and here is a link that goes into the 'why' of it. :)
