Black Vulture Looking Good !!!

Not the prettiest bird out there. But in the right light with the right wing position, black vultures hold their own. This is another photo taken while wading in the water next to James Shadle's boat.

This is lovely, Doug. Beautiful light, pose and comp. Feather detail is great. If your vultures are anything like African ones, they look ugly at first glance but once you've seen them fly they are gorgeous.

Perhaps not the most beautiful bird species, but this is a great looking Black Vulture.
So many Black and Turkey Vultures get beat up pretty badly.

All things being equal, the image you create will look the best, with the best looking specimen!
