Young Squirt; Watching Mom

This is Don's and some dandy mixed light. This guy is about 9 weeks old and just starting to venture out of the nest (or nest box in this case). The youngsters are Don's favs he says they remind him of new sneakers,clean, bright and full of bounce.
Small story, when we first got into rehabbing young fox sqs and Groundhogs would scare him to death. GH's sleep like road kill and young fox sqs flop where ever they are if they want a nap, he was always in a panic, get in here something is wrong. Then one day he walked out of the rehab room and said "Honey everyone's fine they all look dead".:D
FYI, Don has no clue how to use a computer, we are going to work on that and he can post himself.

Nice shot and cute story!! Love these little guys,sometimes when I'm shooting birds I can't help but be distracted by these guys they are so adorable! Eye looks good and a cute composition!

Don has that great eye contact! very sharp details in the face and whiskers. Perhaps some tweaking on the eye to bring it out even more???
