Mucked around some with a bit with Topaz Adjust on this one. I think it still looks reasonably natural. It was pretty fogy and sun was low. 50D, 70/200 f/4 at 70mm, Av mode, 1/1500, f/4, ISO400.

Dave ,I liked the colors used in your previous post so much it's hard to see this one clearly! I do like the colors here they are unique and the sky color is great! Like your composition-see some noise or artifacts in BG prob. from the conversion.Well done! Has a moody feel.

I like it a lot Dave Your mucking payed off !!!!

This is totally different from the previous but works just as well and like it a lot. Has more of a conventional feel. I like how you balanced the image having he sun at the ul with the reeds at the lr From a processing point of view might try to tweak the density of the layers, having each a little different would accentuate the layer effect.

If you can post the original to see what Topaz Adjust was able to do. The only part that looks a little strange is the immediate foreground. Big Congrats !!!

This is what I had thought of posting first but did not like the really blown out sun.
I just lucked on this smooth/sharp look by running Topaz Denoise after really working on the image in PS. Dave

As per Alfred's suggestion here is the converted file. I had adjusted WB and EXP in ACR before converting. I also posted another view of same scene in Out of the Box.
Not usre I am the best to show benefits or "what Can Be Done" with Topaz.
I thought my origial post lacked colour and sharpness but did not want to over do it.
Thanks for looking and the comments.

Like your original post Dave. Excellent feel to your image due to the soft tones.
