    Default Bald Eagle

Here's my own little nod to Jean. Not as awesome as the images from Homer I've seen many of you capture, but I liked the pose and head angle here. Light angle a bit off, but best I could do before the Eagle took off.

Captured in Cape Coral. Canon 1DsMII (with new shutter - YEA!), Canon 600mm f/4L, f/7.1, ISO 200, 1/1250, 0 EV, AV Mode, Used Blubb over car door, IS turned off.

Nice and sharp Bob, and I like the eye contact and the slightly spread wings. I probably would have used a little + EC to push the exposure to the right and bring out some feather detail in the darks. Some S/H work would help, but I suspect you had some room on the right side of the histogram.

Yeah I think I could've gone at least a third easy. Probably even 2/3. I was set up for owls, and this guy was just there. Didn't give me much time to set up.
