    Default Anyone using Pickpic?

    www.pickpic.com

I'm wondering what is so great about it to justify the $1200.00 set-up fee.

It doesn't seem to to much more than Photo Cart other than an adjustable crop function and there is a rumor of a fulfillment option, but I'm not really tempted just yet. Mostly curious.

    Jim,
Is this basically a print store template that you host?
Looking at the demo I clicked the "go to website" link. Once on the website I could not see anyway to get to the "print store". I'm sure they could add a link.

But here is my question, do you host and own the template?
$1295 sounds a little strong for a canned template with shopping cart.

My understanding is that you buy the template and the installation. You don't get the rights to modify the code without permission. Apparently, right now it is basically just a shopping cart, but there is rumor of an eventual print fulfillment option. It would be nice to have a client buy the print and have everything automated instead of having to manually place an order.

I know there are other solutions that do this already, but they take a hefty percentage.

In any case, I can't see Pickpic being of value without the auto fulfillment option, and even then only with a really high volume. I just wondered if I was missing something.

Right now, I use Photo Cart, and am pretty happy with it.
