Bosque Blast-Off

Hi Everyone!
Another one from my recent Bosque trip...the incredible sight of 70,000 snow geese blasting off...

Actually it was dark when I took this so I was kind of surprised when this came out of the camera!!! I also think that in my panic not to miss the blast-off I may have been panning as well...:D

Real Sweet Nicki !!! You got the eye !!!

Like the feel produced by the half second shutter speed, love seeing the birds move out while having some sharp at the bottom. Might suggest taking a little of the bottom, will lower the horizon and strengthen the image. Big Congrats !!!

Nice one, Nicki! I agree with Al, chop a bit off the bottom and go for the pano - it will put even more emphasis on the birds.
