    I like the idea you had, but feel the image is not quite up to what it could have been. I don't mind the sparkling dewdrops in LRC, and I like the way some grasses are visible through the light in ULC. The bright spots near the head are distracting and could be toned down. Perhaps a contrast boost would help give some impact. I realize the yellow cast is the effect of the light you had, but I think you could neutralize it more as it may be too yellow :-) I like the duck's pose...and its' mid-molt plumage makes it look like a wise-old graying individual.

    Like Daniel, I do like your idea but I have to agree about some white areas seems to be very distracting. I like the yellow light because adds a lot to the mood odf the scene. Love the eye contact and the rendering of the head but I think that this image needs more out of focus areas, specially at the bottom of the frame, to work in the way you want. What do you think about a vertical croping?

    I like the idea and would tone down the specular highlights and increase contrast a few points.
