    20D, 1-400L @ 400mm, f7.1, 1/200s, ISO 400, handheld. Slight crop to level.

    HI Steve,

    DoF just right to give this guy good sharpness. I like the diagonal lines of grass and dirt w/o any overt BG distraction. The overcast soft light really helps to saturate the colors and make him pop. Nicely done.

    Very nice Steve. Great detail in the prairie dog and the surrounding environment adds a nice dimension to the image. These guys are always a lot of fun to watch and photograh.

    I like this one. As already pointed out by Robert, the green lines in the background creates an interesting pattern. The image is sharp. Thanks for sharing.

    Great detail and color, Steve. How'd you get him to pose? Ours usually skeedaddle when they see the photographer approaching. I'd be tempted to brighten the image a bit.

    Cute factor high, super choice of DOF and tack sharp. I also like the eye contact. A really micro nit pick is that I wish his ear were more visible. Now this is picky isn't it??? Seriously a great image.
