    Hello,

This one from my last visit to the Everglades while having my photo exhibit.

    Hope you like it.

    Canon 40D, 70-200mm L @ 113mm, f/5.6, 1/1600 sec, ISO 100, Manual, Tripod, Almost Full Frame.

    Thanks!

    Hey Maxis,
Really nice job seperating the tree and you have nice balance with the sun and glow from it. I am not thrilled with the leaves and grasses in front of it but do realize the difficulty of capturing both and I think you handled it very well....just not sure the FG stuff compliments the tree as well. Let's see what others chime in.

    Maxis,

Agree with Roman on this one. I suggestion two exposures. One for the tree in focus and one for the FG in focus and combine them.

Nice balance between the tree and the sun Maxis - and the colors are just great. The OOF grasses detract a little, but nothing that truly ruins the image.

Great suggestions already. Keep that tree in mind for next visit. I think I know it too. =)

love the slash pine. I'd be inclined to just have the pine in silhouette perhaps in vertical crop.

The colors in the sky are awesome. Agree with other comments already made about FG
