Taken today. Yard feeder set-up + blind. I had only ever seen a couple of Siskins in my yard before a couple of weeks ago. Then I had a couple of them frequenting my feeders, then half a dozen, now at least 20...and seemingly growing! I didn't have time this week to choose some better perches so I'll settle for this one for now. I just came back from the woods before sundown to get a better variety for tomorrow...so stay tuned! ;-)

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @400mm, aperture priority, eval meterning, 1/200s., F6.3, ISO 640, +1.3 EC, natural light, handheld.

I like the soft light, pose and BG. I look forward to more siskin images and maybe with a different perch.

Nicely done, Daniel--nice clean bg and I like the sharpness and detail of the eye.

Excellent image Daniel ! I like the 2 diagonals done by the perch and the bird.

    Dom :)
