    I was going thru some old files when I came across this image of a Bald Eagle at Viera shot from a flight deck at eye level, to this day I still can not believe he let me get that close.

    40D, 500f/4 + 1.4 TC, 1/160 at f/7.1, Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metered +1 1/3, ISO 400, Raw, Tripod, Slight Crop for composition

    Great light, details and BG. I might put the bird a bit higher in the frame.

    Lovely perch , pose and feather details. Great soft light. Agree re cropping from above. Good use of a fine dark frame for web presentation.

    Sweet light, head turn and details on this image Don. the eye contact looks really good. I would consider the posssibility of a vertical composition for this one, croping from the right and a little bit of the left. Well done!
