    Default Snow Lace

This is a photo of queen anne's lace, converted to b&w with a gradient map and an Illustrated action. It kind of reminds me of a snowflake now! I really wish the middle section would have been as pronounced in the illustration look as the edges were but I just couldn't make it work. Guess this will have to do!

Julie, I always appreciate seeing how you interpret things, it does inspire us to push ahead. I agree this does look like a snowflake. It is so delicate. Thanks for sharing.

It does look like a snowflake Julie. Somehow I don't think the small posting size does it justice, and I think it would make a nice print.

Jackie, it's hard to get the Illustrated action to work on a large print so I tend to keep them smaller for that reason. I guess I could try and bump this up to a 7x7 instead of a 5x5. I just thought it was amazing how different the lace looked when I converted it.

    Hi Jules,
I love this too - it could be a snowflake but also it might be an exotic flower...
    Regards,
    Nicki
