    Default Waking Up at Anhinga

    This guy was just waking up on my early morning trip to Anhinga Trail. This presunrise image was photographed with my Canon 40D. ISO 200, f/8.0, 1/400 sec, 80-400mm Sigma, 400mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Comments welcome.

    Well done Mr. Waas,
    I like the composition, image and capture...the multi-toned colors in the background does it here. The silhouette of the bird is nice and sharp and he's placed just right in frame...congrats...:cool:

    As stated above, the colors are wonderful. The background seems really clean and noise free to me. Thanks for sharing.

    Such a beautiful comp. The foliage looks great with some in focus and some out. The Sky colour/gradient is incredible.
    On an aside it does look like a scene out of Karate Kid

    Gorgeous BG Richard, might just be tempted to take out the leaves that are not a deep black in between and around the perch. Would love it as a print too.
