    In the beginning the female has dramatic reactions (and displays) to fly ins by the male; after possibly laying first eggs, she is only mildly interested.

    The wing position, details and bored look of her are great. It would have been better if the incoming male had faced you. Maybe a bit more space at the bottom.

    Lovely detail - going away pose saved by the lovely feather detail on the back and wings. Bird in the nest really adds to the image.

    Image shows the plumage really nicely. When birds are landing like this they are looking forward so little hope for a head turn towards you! The star of the image is the chick in the nest looking up at this flying machine. I would try darkening a little. The image looks like it might have had a bit too much Shadows and Highlights (?)

    Hi David - agree with all of the above - a bit more space on the bottom would have been nice.
    Looking forward to seeing more :)
