    The intense stare, the eye focused on something, the lifted right foot and the frozen pose makes this one for me. I like the placement too. Good color and fine background. For the life of me, I can't see why some want to kill these beautiful creatures. Wolves either. Images like these, and the mountain lion that Robert Franz posted, bring the beauty out for us to see.

    Beautiful coyote Steve. The intense stare and alert pose really tells the story of being on the hunt. The muted light really worked to your advantage here.

    Just right for me Steve. You framed it well in a pleasing environment and got him tack sharp.

    Looks good here Steve... I really like your position of the coyote in the frame, and the raised front leg adds to the sense of motion. Nice work.

    Very nice. I like the intense stare and the raised foot. These coyotes really blend into their environment.

    Thanks for the look Dan. As for blending, I saw one the other day while I was driving and lost him in an open field in the time it took to turn around and pull over.
