Southern Wisconsin has had a pretty good year for Snowy Owls. Here's a shot of one that I got this earlier today. Handheld/ propped on car window. Comments welcome.

I am always amazed at the plumage of these gorgeous owls. Nice grab shot, I agree with Axel re: light direction. A little more on the 'shaded' part of its left side of the face would have been very nice indeed. :)

I like the slightly rising angle of the body mimicing the angle of the trees in the BG. I also like the wing and head positions.
