Default Ibis Sunset over Alafia River

Since 1989, I have been taking the kayak or waverunner to visit the islands at the mouth of the Alafia River which are full of birds. This one from last year. At last light, I stood in the water with the waves splashing against me to shoot the sunset. I felt blessed when the White Ibises flew through the frame.

    Hi Marina,
I like the composition and capture...The birds are a big plus, I like the placement of the sun, and the marmalade sky...the tree line in the background is nice and sharp...suggestion...I adjusted your base composition by cropping into a tight pano, thus eliminating the out of focus waves in the foreground and eliminating a little bit of the negative space on top; this focuses all of the attention on the sunset and the passing birds. I also adjusted the mid-tones and lightened the sky just a tad; and increased saturation by 2 percent and adjusted the contrast...see if this presents best to you...

Marina lovely photo. Those clouds over the sun are quite amazing. I do prefer Gus's crop and although I like the sky on the repost, not sure if some of the clouds details are lost. Very peaceful looking. Nature's great isn't it! You captured a moment. Dave

Wonderful capture Marina. Just so pretty with the sun in the right spot and the Ibis flying right on by. Could not ask for more. I do like the few little tweaks Gus had added.

    Thanks for sharing. :)

Nice image. You have placed all the elements in the scene nicely. I think the crop helps focus on the subjects better also.
