Looks like a Titmouse-and a very sad little guy, nice details and HA ,lovely BG-positioned well in the frame and I like that you got his tail in there. The perch isn't ugly-

A Tufted titmouse no less - I always have serious problems trying to capture these little guys...this is such an excellent shot. I personally really like the composition/HA/perch/DOF and the detail is just amazing. Man-made perch or not the bird is beautiful.

light looks flat to me. i think some flash might have livened it up a little. nice detail and the perch doesnt bother me. there are a few white dust bunny type thingies that i see in the bg that could easily be cleaned up!

Those little guys are tough to catch still for a moment, I like the all over shot.

    Thanks for sharing

Hi Nonda - I like lovey Ha and like the pose - I would sharpen the eye a little and maybe clean up the BG just a little.

    Hi Nonda,
I like the composition and capture. you have nice sharp details a good head angle and he's placed right in frame...Suggestions: I would selective sharpen the eye just a tad more, not too much; clean up the oof in the background and increase saturation by 2 percent and increase the contrast by one percent...good show...

Hey, hey all I did was the post..The Boss was behind the camera.

Cleaned up the snow spots, the J Maple branches in the BG have to stay, and followed your other instructions Gus.

i really like the details, sharpness, specks on the beak, and its position which adds some energy to the image. Can you add contrast or a catch light to the eye?

    very cute capture.
