    Don't normally crop bird shots to pano, but felt this particular one accentuated this White Pelican's wingspan and its feather detail.

    Canon 40D, 400DO F4 IS
    F8, 1/2500, ISO 400, manual mode
    handheld, cropped to pano

    I think you nailed it here. I absolutely adore that wingspread and the fact the light is illuminating it so beautifully. If anything, I think it may be a little too saturated?

    Cool pose and good details. The light looks a bit harsh and I would lighten the shadow of the bill.

    Marina this is great action and good exposure and detail. I like the composition too and agree with Axel's comments about the bill. Many thanks for sharing.
