Take off - tried a little movement whilst handholding - not sure if it works.

Hi Lance, works for me. I think you created a very interesting and dynamic image. I have some nits regarding the composition though. I'm not to happy with the position of the eye in the centre of the frame. i would consider adding canvas to the left, because you don't want to lose that splash! The vertical cropping is a little tight for me, maybe add some room on the bottom. You will then also have equal space above and below the bird, which might look stronger. Great detail at 1600 ISO by the way! These modern cameras keep amazing me.

    Lance,

For me it does and it doesn't. I feel like I either want more blur or blur as it is with the face/eye sharp, if that makes sense.?

    Super job at 1600!

Well composed and executed Mr. Peters,
I like it as presented...I like the water trail, and the semi blurred wings...good show...the colors are nice and the feel is good...

    Hi Lance:

Very dramatic, would make a great framed all in white wall hanging. Like it very much.

    Thanks for sharing
