Re-Post American Tree Sparrow

After taking some advice from fellow friendly BPN members (THANK YOU), I decided to make some of the changes suggested. I made some tonal adjustments, cloned in an area, re-cropped and performed another round of sharpening.

I'm not sure if I still need a little more room up top. Also, when previewing my post, the file appears to be roughly 10% lighter then when viewed in PS. Would that have something to do with the RGB colorspace.

Please feel free to give your C&C's once again. It is appreciated.

Hi Stefan, I definitely like it better than the prevoius post, seems brighter or lighter. Still very nice details and good looking eye. It does feel tight or close to me but that may be personal preference.

Agree with Dave Would love to see more around the bird Not hard rules but generally you don't want more than 80% bird. These guys in the snow sure have a different feel I like it !!!

Hi stefan - a Improvement for sure - like the changes you have made. agree with a bit more room around the bird - nice one....

PS. also do you realise you can post your adjusted photo in the same thread that the original was in (this then does not count as a NEW post and you can still post a new thread on that day)

Thanks for the replies. I have more room to work with in the original, so I won't have to do lots of cloning in of "fantasy-space".

Lance, thanks for letting me know about the posting information. I didn't know that, and it will come in handy one day soon!

Now I got to study up on the abbreviation post!!!
