    African Fish Eagle (Juvenile) over the Luangwa River through smoke-filled skies.
    Sth Luangwa NP- Zambia.
    I would have liked a touch more DOF.

    D2Xs 300f/2.8VR +1.4tc ISO200 f/4 1/1000s@420mm.

    I agree with your wish for more DOF. NIce pose for sure and good capture. I wonder why you went for ISO 200 and not 800 or so. Not that I use a Nikon but those folks, whom I know use them, rave about great high ISO performance. Your DOF wish could have been realized.

    Nice pose and profile of the head. Smoky skies not ideal:(. I think it may be worth trying a reversed S-curve to lighten the darks and thus bring some detail into the wing and eye while darkening/maintaining the smoky sky tone and leaving the highlights unaltered.
