    Default Sharp-Shinned Hawk - juvenile



    Taken this morning out the kitchen window early. SS would not move out of the heavy shade. 40D, 1.4X II, 300 f4 L IS, f5.6, 1/50 sec., ISO 400, +.33 ev.

    Lovely pose and great eye contact. It does look a tad soft on my monitor. Well composed and I like the crop you chose for this image. Many thanks for sharing James and congratulations on such a wonderful find.

    Great find. it does look a little soft and are those sharpening halos around the eye.

    It is soooo frustrating when they don't move into the light :)
