Very artistic image Fab. Love the pose and the dark BG with the OOF puffin in the BG. You always come up with the unusual and I love it. Keep them coming !!!!!

Interesting: reminds me of how stage lighting is used to isolate and emphasise characters on a stage. Exposure is interesting and creative. What works: The FG puffins in focus and the BG puffin in "bokeh" diffusion. Suggestions; blur the BG puffin a little more make it a mere suggestion; a little more contrast on FG puffin. Like the concept of the composition.

Very cool composition and use of DOF. The OOF puffin makes this really interesting. I might raise the color temperature a tad.

Quite stunning with the concept and the lighting, I would have preferred to see a bit more sharpness, but thats my very minor quip. Great shot, stunning.

Just love the OOF rear image it somehow gives this image an artistic slant on this composition. Also I this this would have been a killer image as a vertical with plenty of room in the front, nicely done either way and thanks so much for sharing.

Beautiful image, it is obvious from the start that you knew precisely what sort of image you wanted to create. Gorgeous colours and tonality.

Very creative composition. I like the completely black BG which makes your subject really blend in. Your puffins always seem to glow from within. How do you pull that off? Is it just the light on that latitude?

You should call this one "Looking In The Mirror" or "Soul Searching" or "Reflections". Excellent image all the way around. Very emotionally appealing image.

Very artistic composition Fabs. The OOF puffin really accentuates the sharpness of the foreground puffin. They are such wonderful birds and you've captured them quite elegantly.
