One of my favorites of your! Love the two tone BG. There's a couple of things I'd do. First, get rid of the dark sopts in the lower right border and under the bird's feet, and if you are handy in PS and it's something you do, the face could use a little lightening.
The colors of the BG are awesome as well as the excellent flight pose and detail. I find the line separating the colors in the BG a bit distraction as it is on a slight diagonal rather than straight across. Lovely species and many thanks for sharing.
Cool wing position and dangling foot. I agree regarding the spot on the right side and am wondering what it would look like with the reed/water line straightened.
Very nice shot I don't know if it would be possible to brighten up the head to offer a little more detail especially of the eye. I think a little CW rotation may help too.
