    I am really getting the hang of this effect, I can now tell which photos will work and which ones don't...
    Taken of the first male redpoll I've seen this year....
    I have used Orton Effects on many photos...Thanks for showing this effect on here

    Thanks Fabs, I've added catchlight, neat how a little dot of white makes such a difference..never added one before is this enough?

    I think you did a terrific job, Paul, my only suggestion would be to mask the eye and add a catch light if you can to keep the "alive" feeling. Colors are terrific!

    Very nice Paul,
    I like the details and colors on your bird...the green background makes him stand out...good show...:cool:

    Beautifully done, Paul! Don't you love when you get a new move down so well you can tell beforehand what will work and what won't? Such a timesaver!!!

    This is very well done -the catchlight does add another whole dimension to the life of the bird, doesn't it? I think you got it just right.

    Paul, a beautiful soft, saturated image, and the catchlight looks perfect! One of my favorite winter locals here.
