Took this a couple weeks ago had to add some room to the left and a wing tip.

Canon 50D 500mm f4 1.4x, Tripod, Evaluative metering +1 /500 @ f8 Iso 800.

Fine capture. Nice dramatic moment; the sand beeing kicked up lends more to the sense of force. If I may; perhaps a layer of the BG could be created and the contrast adjusted to bring a bit more delineation between the bird and BG. The FG sand and grass(?) is a plus, IMHO: a bit more canvas to the left would be nice. Again MHO. I like the shot.
