Thanks again to Alexander Koenders, who made it possible that I have got some pictures of the crested Tit, that I love so much.... :):):)

This image is made with my Mark III, the 500mm lens,
    f 6.3 / 1/250 sec / ISO 250

am not sure, if I used a converter and if, wich one, the 1.4 or the 1.7??? I changed so much, but I think, it is made without it....

As always, any comments are really welcome :)

What a lovely setting for this bird...wonderful. While the position and direction of the perch are a bit dull (straight through the centre) I love the ice and how the branch divides into two. The matching colours, the raised crest and placement of the bird in frame make this one for me.

Great capture, I like the pose, perch, BG and the snow adds to it. I might increase the saturation a few points. Something like this maybe?

This is superb Rosl. To be honest, for me either version seems to be fine. Perhaps the original post conveys the winter cold a little better? Well placed in the frame. :)

Lovely image, Rosl. Gentle curve of the perh and the snow really add to it. I would be tempted to crop a tiny bit off the right to move the birds eye a little further from the midline. Not sure which version is best as I am unfortunately not familiar with this lovely species.

    Hi Rosl.
I prefer your version since it gives the sense of been cold. I would run some NR on the BG though.
    A great looking fellow indeed.

Axel's repost is much more attractive to my eyes colour-wise...not that yours isn't attractive ;-) I'm with Tony about the nice curve of the perch and snow, and I'm with Peter for a bit more room above. All-in-all a very pretty image...congrats!!

Rosl lovely capture against a nice BG. The perch, snow and raised crest make this image for me.

A beautiful capture. I love the composition. Is this cheating? I rotated the canvas about 9 degrees CW and applied a gentle selective color adjustment to the bird to deepen the hues just a tad. (Also made a global levels adjustment.)

I am happy, that you seem to like my first post of a crested Tit :-)
I agree with all your comments and advice. And I really like the repost from you, David.
The Canvas Rotation seems to be a very good idea to me and all the other work you did with my image look very very good!

    Hello Rosl,

yes this is one of my favorite images from your trip to the Netherlands. I think the canvas rotation is a great idea!!
I also like the version with the higher saturation.
