Great moment captured, I like the action, details and angle. It could go a tad brighter for my taste.

Dark birds against a dark background... that's a tough one to get right, or should I say bright. A "shade" dark for me as well, but a great capture! Love the interaction!!!

Gorgeous subject enhanced by gorgeous light Chas. I'm already dreaming of floating in my kayak in June-July with loon families. I did not get out in time last year for water taxi shots so need to be very vigilent this year on chick hatching dates. Guess what? - the latest NY breeding bird atlas shows a noticable increase since the late 80s, in loons in the Adirondacks!

Wonderful intimate moment Charles. :) I like the angle and closeness between parent and chick.

So rich and warm. Love the anticipatory look of the chick.

I am with Jeff, floating in the lake looking for loons..............just a bit dark for me Chas. Do love the interaction however.
