    Another shot taken in tricky side light with relatively little light on the background.

    Canon 20D Canon 500mm f4 L IS
    ISO 800 I applied Neat image NR
    1/125 sec @ f4

    Nice pose and DOF covering the bird. BG is lovely. I would clean up the 2 strands coming out of the nape and probably sharpen this a little more for web presentation - would probably mask extra sharpening off the folded primaries and tail as these will easily oversharpen.

    I like the perch, details and BG and might lighten the eye. I would also increase the color temperature a few degrees since the whites look a bit blueish on my monitor.
