    Photographed in a local state park in low light a few days ago. I liked how he held onto the cone.

    This is a rare visitor in Sweden in the winter.Love the pose and the conegrip.

    Nice setting Axel. The head is sharp but I wish the rear half of the body were more so.

    Axel, Yes on the cone contact! And yes on the entire image with such a good BG and natural environment. Great work on getting the Crossbill out in the open. Bob

    I like the pose and eye contact, the cone adds interest too.

    Beautiful composition Axel with lovely lighting and good detail. Love the little pine cone on the branch. Great touch.
