    This little fellow was resting in the snow late afternoon. I did try this pose which was not easy to get. The reflectivity of the head feathers requires a perfect angle with the sun in order to display the green. I am not sure if the top where we see the open water is distracting. Please let me know.

    I was laying in the snow, my chin at about 1 inch from the ground. It was cold... but I love winter!

    I like the setting, head angle and details and might crop a bit off the top and bottom. The image could go a bit darker for my taste.

    Nice head angle and capture of the sheen and colors. I also think it's a bit bright and would crop a little off top and bottom. I think it would help make the subject stand out more.

    Like the setting and HA - the BG colour is a nice contrast to the head colour. Also looks a little bright on my screen.
