    Photo taken off Point Roberts Wa.. fairly large crop, with a 50D, 400/5.6 lense, at 5.6, Av mode, 1/500 EC+1.5 ISO 800

    I like the details, eye contact and soft light and would crop it a bit tighter. On my monitor it looks as if there is a slight green cast.

    Lovely definition of the bird against the BG and I like the water droplets on the back. I agree re cropping - especially from above - I think this would work well as a pano crop like this. Mild colour cast neutralisation. Sharpening could be backed off a bit as there are prominent halos but I think this is a lovely image.

    Thanks Guys for the comments, much appreciated. I will check out the colour cast and sharpening. Interesting suggestions about cropping a bit tighter; I was a bit worried I had over cropped since I had cropped already. Still getting used to the extra pixels in the 50D I quess.
