I like the action you caught. The whites seem a bit hot. I like the 3 colored background but would try to remove the out of focus branch behind the bird going up the frame.

Cool pose and eye contact. It looks quite soft on my monitor and I might clone out the tree (?) behind the bird. Maybe some lightening of the far wing?

thanks guys, yes, Axel, that is a tree.. and I didn't even consider lightening the left wing., might be worth a try.
