Default Blue Tit - On the Ground

    Attached Images Attached Images

In an attempt to add a touch of variety into the many blue tit shots taken in my garden recently I decided to take a few shots of them at ground level.

    Lying on my belly. 40D + 400mm DO + 1.4TC. Hand held. ISO 400. F5.6 @ 1/800 sec. Evaluative metering. -1/3 exposure comp.

    Critiques as always welcome.

    Cheers.

Sean, This is my favorite of the series! Love the feather detail and HA. BG is lovely and I like the angle.

    Hi Sean,
I like the image and capture...you have good sharp details and nice colors...suggestion; I would crop 1/4 from the right of the frame to bring your subject to the 1/3 rule quadrant. also clone out the brown leaf at the bottom right and you got yourself a wall hanger...good show...
