    Note:
    This beautiful lady stopped to say hello late yesterday afternoon at Anhinga Trail, in Everglades National Park. She was painted with a Nikon D2x using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 D IF-ED lens, with a Nikkor 1.4 T/C.


    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 630mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / ISO @ 320 /1/1000sec - f/8 / exposure comp @ +1.3EV / white balance @ cloudy / AF Mode @ AF–C, dynamic range /color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 / no speedlight / no tripod - hand held, braced against wooden rail of boardwalk /

    Dead on my friend. Very sharp and well placed. Went to Anhinga for a little bit in the morning yesterday with Alberto and ran into Richard.

    Very nice Gus, Nice detail and colours, bg works very well. Nice to see a "macro" shot with a "non-macro" lense. Oscar does ask a good question. Dave

    Fine Dfly image Gus Having the bug parallel to the plane makes all the difference in having it with enough dof !! Big Congrats on this one ... and love the bg !!!

    Hi Gus, very nice dragonfly! I'm jealous you can capture these in winter!! Only nit is that the tail is not entirely in focus, but the greatly colored eyes draw so much attention that I hardly notice it. Great colors, excellent BG and I like how you placed the dragonfly and it's perch in the frame.
