It was a glorious morning today at Anhinga Trail in the Everglades. I photographed this image just before sunrise with my Canon 40D. ISO 200, f/8.0, 1/5 sec, EF24-105 f/4L 28mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, no flash. Comments welcome......

Very, very nice great colors!. I'm trying to decide if I like the grasses right in the front? Might add depth, not sure.

Beautiful colors Richard, indeed a beautiful morning. I find the tall grass in the foreground taking away from rest of the image.

Great colors and I really enjoy the image. Not placing the horizen in the middle of the image really works well here. I would like to see a version without the foreground grass as it seems to take away from the great reflection for me. If you were to include it, I would try to keep it from touching the reflection if possible. However, sometimes that is not possible. Great image.

I wanted to try to remove some of the overlay of the foreground on the reflection. Wish I had had a step stool, maybe next time. What are your thoughts?

Aha..I like that much better, nice job Richard. That separation, to me, makes a huge difference and not a hint of fixing, looks very natural.

I know what you mean about step stool just about all the vegetation, even dead, at the one wetlands is taller than I am. Don at 6'1" is fine, me at 5'4", not so much

The seperation really helps the image. Nice job.
