    Default Kingfisher (Alcedo Atthis)

At the moment we can observe one or the other kingfisher here in a small Delta near Barcelona.
I took this shot last week. I hope you'll like it...

Very nice light and details, I also like the clean BG (what is that BTW?). The perch is rather large and it might also work as vertical crop. Keep them coming!

P.S.: I fixed the the link, the forum software only generates a thumbnail if there is only one image per post. Please post the techs.

Stunn ing colors and sharpness. A healthy crop from the bottom would also work. And the BKKG is too good to be true. Lightening the area in front of the eye would be an improvement; a slightly better head turn would have taken care of that as well.

Just alittle more light on the face and a vert. would work very well. Lighting, detail and color are fantastic.

Very good job on the KF. Super soft BG and very nice light. I agree with other´s comments regarding the light on the eye.

I thank you for your nice replies! The background was just water, but as the sky was cloudy and no wind, it
    looks so 'clean'...

    Greetings,
    Marion
