    After watching these loons for years I can anticipate with certainty when and in what direction they are going to wing flap.

    Hi Chas,

    I was referring to the "feeling" to it which does not necessarily means "looks". My monitor is well calibrated. :D

    Gotcha, but I do not understand the "dark feeling" as mentioned. Usually, dark refers to sinister, gloomy, somber.

    Looks good here, with all the details showing fine on my screen. I really like seeing the water droplets from all that flapping. Looks like a friendly enough loon too... lol.

    Maybe Guest is referring to the lighting or time of day when this image was made?

    Superb image Chas, I hish for a better head turn but the pose and action are really nice. The green emerald BG is very good. Love the water drops floating in the air, they looks like if the bird is losing its white spots of the feathers due to the shaking ;)
