    “Lady’s Night Out”

    Techs:
The image was under exposed to create a classy seductive mood. A Circular Polarize filter was used at 50 percent capacity, to tone down the reflections and to give the image a deep, silky, rich glow in the brown hues. A sheet of glass was used for the reflection of the shoe and necklace.

    The image was painted with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikkor AF-S DX Zoom 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED.

    Image Solution:
focal length @ 55mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / 1/125sec. - f/11 / exposure comp @ -1.3EV / ISO @ 200 / white balance @ manual, custom profile using an expo disk for color calibration. / AF - mode @ manual / metering mode - combination of in camera matrix metering, and hand held spot meter, sampling four anchor points, for balanced light distribution. / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - Nikon R1C1 wireless close up speedlight system; both light units set to 1/2 lumen burst with a wide dispersal pattern. / both diffuser and reflector panels were positioned to distribute the lights and shadows / tone comp @ +2 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform – tripod assist, with macro focusing rail, and a cable trigger release /

    Comments greatly appreciated...

    Hi Gus,

This is very nice. The only thing I noticed is that the back part of the shoe is out of focus. Normally your merchandise should be completely in focus! The rest looks fantastic!

    Hi Gus:

You did it again, lovely presentation, only thing missing is a cobweb silk stocking draped in your capture.

    Would look good in "Playboy"

    Thanks for sharing

    Uncle Gus

BTW: Notice I didn't mention suspenders
