I know how you feel Dan..next week is going to be worse -25 C daytime highs.... DOF spot on, the pink on wing, head, eye, feet all in focus..background just blurred enough..very nice ...Paul

Dan very nice wing position and colour on this bird. The BG blue offers a nice contrast with the pink.

Hi Daniel, I like a lot the balance between the pink in the spoonie and the deep, beautiful, blue of the BG. the wing´s position is very nice and I like the head raised a bit. I know waht you mean. We have a cold wave here is Spain too... well just a few degrees over zero where I live but up to -10º C in the center of Spain. That is a very cold temperature for our latitude :-)
