    Default Giraffe with Oxpecker

I photographed this giraffe earlier this week in the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve. It is generally difficult to get a green background when photographing these giants, because their necks are too long. Fortunately this guy decided to feed on a low shrub, which helped to get him against the soft green background. The oxpecker was a bonus, and the light was beautifully soft.

Great light, pose, details and I agree, the bird adds to it. What is that pattern in the upper right?

    Chris,
I like the composition and the crop choice. The oxpecker improves the image manifold. The green background is a huge plus. Before reading your text I was wondering as to how you achieved that angle. Good work.
