    Caught this Bison having a little rest but he certainly had his eye on me. What a thrill it was to see these beauties up close.

    You certainly did a better job than I did bringing out the Bison from the light colored grass. Great eye contact and I bet you could have erased that single piece of grass off the lip(at least I think it is grass). The other grass doesnt bother me because natural habitat.
    Where was it shot ? Half the fun for me is the history of the photograph.

    The f14 aperture has helped this image. Lot of details in the image. Lovely feel of the habitat. I like this image. Thanks for sharing.

    Great detail and exposure on this tough to expose bison in sunlight. Shows habitat nicely.. Well done Judy!

    It took a second to figure out his position (rear-end towards you?) or if he was just a short, squat bison :). I like the layers created by the OOF FG grass, the stuff he's laying in, and the reddish willows in the BG. Nice detail in the head/eye and I like the glint of light of his horn.
