hi, i was hunting all of this time for a Carolina wren and got some pics, but when i looked into my old files i found
this one. its better than i have gotten since then. once again my shutter is slower than we all would like,
    but its a nice one.:o

    Hi Mike,
I like the capture, you have a nice clean background and the bird is placed just right in frame...I adjusted the crop, by eliminating the negative space at the bottom and taking from the left and right sides of the frame, adjusted saturation and contrast and adjusted your mid-tones...see if this presents best to you...

hi Gus, i agree on everything except the contrast. it blew out the throat of the bird. thank you for being here to see my stuff, i tried my hardest to keep your advice in mind in all of my newer shots. again, thanks for your sage advice.
    thank you too Dave.

    Hi Mike

The original histogram might be a little underexposed? I like pushing to the right without going over !!!

Settings wise would probably pick up one extra third stop and go to 800 with shutter speeds is the 200 range, easy to get some movement.
