This is an image I made last August and just today added the name, preparing it for a possible note card. The photo was taken in the late afternoon during a beautiful sunset; about a 50% crop. Whadda ya think?

    Thanks for C & C,
    Wendell

    Well done Wendell,
I like it very much...I like the rich, bold colors, and the placement of the bird in frame...you have good details....I like the contrast between the browns and blues...good show...

I like the bg and pose Wendell The head is all in the clear with all similar bg, like the raised foot, surprised the selected shutter speed did not keep sharp? In the raw conversion might try bringing detail in the lighter areas by the wing. Excellent feel !!

Nice capture Wendell. looks like it could use a bit more sharpening on the bird, and maybe you could bring out more detail in the lighter areas. Love the raised foot and the blue/green in the BG.

Jackie, you (and Alfred) were right; I just tried bringing out more detail in the lighter areas and was successful in making my image look better . . .
