Another image from my day with the flamingos and... well, lots of very cooperative shovelers in the area :)
This guy was actively feeding and each time that he raised the head over the water level there was tny waterd drops shinning like jewells under the fantastic light of the evening. About half an hour later i was photographing the flamingos in my two last post.
I am amazed with the tremendous quality of the 500VR I had on loan. At 100% the water drops are amazingly sharp. I need to save a lot of money to order one of those big lenses :p

    Hola Juan,

Gorgeous details, colors and exposure. Does your car float? Looks like you were in the water!! :D

Great angle and details. I might tone down the whites a bit and wish for a bit more head turn.

I love the really low angle and the water drop on top of the head and under the chin take this one over the top for me. The details are amazing.

    Que calidad Juan!
The clean BG makes this bird stand out in the frame, those colors details and pose put it over the top for me, great job!

Great duck species, nice low angle, blue water colour, excellent colours in the duck. As some of the others I would wish for a bit more headturn, and toning down the whites would help as well, maybe a double conversion (one for the whites and one for the rest of the duck)?? Great shot nonetheless
