Probably cold too. Taken out of my car window. Eagle had chased a crow away from some left overs. It might have been nice to have a bit more on the bottom, not sure, looks a little "stumpy" to me, but I thought the wet look was important.

Hi Dave. It is a nice shot but agree that the lack of feet is a bit disconcerting. :)

Lack of room on the bottom doesn't bother me since there is room for the feet, least I think so:)

    Well exposed, sharp, really nice.

I think there is room for the virtual feet Crop is a mater of taste, would like a little more room for the large bird and if possible making one really tight. btw there is no rule as to how large the bird in frame, generally I don't like having much more than 80% bird, just a starting point all vary on their own.

Eagle does look upset and you captured the look perfectly. Excellent exposure and all very sharp !!!

    Dave, a good capture indeed,
I like the sharp details and colors on your subject...I too consider that he needs a tad more room in frame...looking forward to the next one...

I think it's interesting that the BG looks as cold and muddy as the bird does! It really helps create a mood here.

Good capture Dave, don't mind the missing feet because you know this guy is stuck in the mud :( Might just sharpen the eye a little and maybe darken the pupil a bit. Good exposure and details.

    Dave:

Like the wet B. C. look, and feet stuck in the mud adds to the bedraggled look.

    Well done young man.

Have the Eagle's started arriving in the Whistler area?

    Thanks for sharing
